Nothing But Some Amazing Space Junk From This Bird...

[ Space.Junk. 001 ] - The Bird's Nameplate

I Made This While Working As A Studio Tech At Penn. Apparently A Normal Name Tag Was Not Enough, So I Laser-Cut Myself Into A Piece Of Wood Instead.

[ Space.Junk. 002 ] - Illusion Pool Bird

I Had A Dream About Being A Tiny Bird. Then I Made This...

[ Space.Junk. 003 ] - Glitched Fish Bracelet

A Rainbow Fish Bracelet Made While I Was Testing The Internal-Cut Acrylic Technique Used In Some Of My Other Work.

It Looked Great. It Was Also Extremely Easy To Hit Against Things, Which Turns Out To Be A Problem For Something Worn On A Wrist.

Pretty Successful Visually. Not Very Successful Structurally.

[ Space.Junk. 004 ] - Meep Bird Simulator

Meep Birds Have A Very Specific Way Of Walking: Forward, Backward, Forward, Backward. I Turned That Motion Into A Physical Object. Shake The Frame Side To Side And The Bird Dances Back And Forth.

MEEP. MEEP. MEEP.

[ Space.Junk. 005 ] - Wearable Meep Bird Simulator

The Same Important Technology, But Wearable. The Birds Dance Back And Forth While You Walk. Walking Provides The Required Power Source.

MEEP. MEEP. MEEP.

[ Space.Junk. 006 ] - Echo Flower, Made On Earth

I Played Undertale Years Ago, And It's Been My Top 1 Game. I Still Remember The Echo Flowers. Earth Does Not Have Any, But Now I Have One At Home.

I Laser-Cut More Than 200 Tiny Acrylic Cubes, Sanded Them One By One, Solvent-Welded Them Onto A Clear Acrylic Sheet, Heat-Bent The Sheet Into A Display Stand, And Painted Every Pixel Individually.

I Sat In The Studio For About 9 Hours Making This. I Was Very Happy, And Filled With Determination :)
